This project involved the structural strengthening of a four-story hospital tower with the construction of a new clinical laboratory and morgue in the basement. The seismic strengthening included work on all four levels of the building while the basement was completely gutted.
The new basement laboratory includes spaces for Histology, Cytology, Autopsy, Transfusion Services, and office functions such as a medical library, conference room, and viewing rooms.
